A mirror dream, what does it mean?

When I was dreaming I knew I wanted to go through a mirror. So I tried to reach the one on my bedside table (which is quite big) but I couldn't lean over far enough. I picked it up with my hands and put it over my head and shut my eyes. Then I heard a voice telling me stuff, it spoke for a while but all I can really remember was her saying that I shouldn't open my eyes because I'm not supposed to see what's here. Then I opened my eyes and woke up. What dyou think this means?
