Wisdom teeth removed, can i smoke?

I had the bottom two wisdom teeth removed, they were impacted. I have stitches and foam which will both dissolve over time. I had them removed at 12pm, it is now 930pm, if i feel up to it, can i smoke a cig without sucking on it too hard?
