Reliable NYC Manhattan apartment Broker to use for finding our first apartment?

looking to move back to nyc. trying to find a studio or a 1bedroom for around 1000 manhattan area. yes its possible i dont want to hear about how its not. I just need a good company to go with who won't be a waste of time and there are so many out there, i would like to hear some of your experiences and the places who actually helped you out. thank you so much.
