The back of my tragus..?

About 6 or 7 days ago I got my tragus and cartilage done. My tragus didn't hurt AT ALL until like a day or two ago. I clean it alot with the saline solution but I've checked it out in the mirror and the jewelry looks and feels reallly tight. Should I be worried about skin growing over the back of the earring he put in? I'm kinda scared, I know it's still new but It JUST started hurting and it's realllly sore all the time:( or is this normal??
